Dickerson Distributors is a wine, beer, spirits and non-alcoholic beverage wholesaler located in Bellingham, Washington.  Dickerson Distributors was founded in 1984 by Gary Dickerson with his son Kevin and daughter Kim.  Gary, a Bellingham native, had spent most of his professional career in the retail grocery business which included extensive experience in beer and wine.  In 1980, Gary left the grocery business and went to work for a beer and wine distribution company.  When the company decided the wine side of the business was unprofitable, he offered to buy it and started Dickerson Distributors.  In 1984, much of the wine consumed was bulk wine and varietals had not yet hit the market. As the popularity of wine grew, suppliers sought out Dickerson Distributors to represent them in Whatcom County and the business grew.

In 1986, Dickerson entered into the beer side of distribution and over those years have established one of the best craft beer portfolios available. This includes International and Domestic brands, also featuring several local breweries.

Kent Dickerson joined the family business in 1992 after graduating from Washington State University with a degree in business.

In 2004, Dickerson Distributors expanded south into Skagit, Island and San Juan counties. Still operating out of Bellingham, we now distribute fine wines from three different wine producing states and seventeen different countries. We represent micro breweries from across the United States and distribute premium beers from sixteen countries. Dickerson’s is considered a regional leader in the specialty beer category.

In 2007, Gary Dickerson retired, leaving his sons, Kevin and Kent, to continue operating the family business. The goal at Dickerson Distributors is to continue cultivating local relationships while garnering new brands.
